A Festival of One Acts Lights Up the Stage This Tuesday
Come see the theatrical talents of Alabama’s theater community as Theatre Tuscaloosa and the Arts Council of Tuscaloosa presents A Festival of One Acts! This incredible onstage showcase invites you to see some of the most beloved one-act plays from renowned playwrights as they come to life at this one-of-a-kind event.
In celebration of World Theatre Day on March 27th, Theatre Tuscaloosa will host a jam-packed schedule of astounding storytelling with A Festival of One Acts. Bringing together a myriad of directors and actors, four one-act plays will be performed in this sweeping display of theatrical talent, with narratives ranging from quirky comedies to dramatic satire. Come see the dynamic effects that theatre can encompass with a non-stop presentation of Something Unspoken by Tennessee Williams, The Pleasure of Detachment by Perry Souchuk, Tone Clusters by Joyce Carol Oats, and Spreading the News by Lady Gregory.
